The Newport

This 15” guitar is very comfortable and a lot of fun to play. The small body makes it quick to respond with a distinctive “pop” to the attack of each note, favored by soloists and bop players. But don’t let that fool you. Carefully designed to be well balanced and responsive, this guitar is also wonderful for finger style and solo jazz players too. This instrument is usually built as an acoustic/electric instrument with a floating pickup.
